Our Automotive manufacturing client based in Leeds are seeking a Warehouse Shipping Administrator to join their Warehouse team.
Job Summary
In this role, you will work closely with all shipping personnel to ensure customer collections are shipped in line with customer expectations and that of the business.
Within your role, you will communicate effectively with customer service and other departments within the business to provide accurate information regarding shipments.
You will enter shipment information on web portals, liaise with 3PL’s to book collections and load vehicles when on site.
You will liaise with the companies preferred logistics companies to provide proof of delivery when required and manage the customer collections file.
Stock accuracy is a Warehouse KPI, and as such, all warehouse operators need to support and make sure we meet the criteria needed for stock accuracy.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
* Entering shipping information on customer web portals
* Manage the customer collections shelf, communicate to CS on late collections
* Control the customer collections file
* Load finished orders on vehicles
* Liaise and communicate effectively and accurately with other departments in line with company expectations.
* Manage finished orders with customer specific ship days
* Provide packing lists, Invoices, weights and dimensions to freight forwarders and customer services regarding shipments ready for collection
* Manage the Zone B to shipping report daily to ensure we meet OTD deadlines
* Provide cover for OEM/Export Administrator
Essential requirements
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience with WMS
* Comfortable using MS Office Applications
* Ability to work with all levels of the business
* A balanced judgement and able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
