In this position you’ll be part of engineering teams consisting of project managers, technical experts and engineers and will be responsible for new product developments and integration of both internal and external technologies. 

The role requires a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong technical background to deliver new product development projects that seek to combine different sensor, communication, and imaging sub-systems. They will also have a focus on improving and facilitating the integration of our technology with external technology partners and customers. 

In addition to larger projects the role will require running and coordination of small development projects and be accountable for their delivery. This will include elements of project management and requires the candidate to be an excellent communicator both in person and through written documentation. 

The role will involve coordinating and collaborating with algorithm, sensor, software, and mechanical engineers to deliver these projects. The role will benefit from a technical foundation in mechanics, electronics, and software to be able to deliver these projects but will not be expected to embark on any significant design work within any individual specialism. Whilst experience of marine technology would be beneficial, it is not essential.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Degree qualified in an engineering discipline (system, mechanical, electronic, software, communications, control systems or similar)
