Even throughout this pandemic they haven’t furloughed anyone.

This company is a rapidly expanding innovator who has a long-standing reputation for designing and manufacturing high quality, cost effective and robust image processing systems. Customer satisfaction is key to their success and is done by providing excellent technical and service support to customers in over 25 countries.

The work will include the continued development of the image processing software and associated applications. The software under development includes aspects of user-interface design, user-input validation and management, data acquisition, image processing, database, display and archiving.

Working primarily on a Microsoft Windows platform, the successful software engineer would ideally have a good understanding of mathematics, physics and data processing.  You’ll need a good working knowledge of Visual C, MFC, C++, and ideally C# and VB.NET. The role may involve additional exposure to Python, FORTH and Java & additional training can be provided.

You’ll need to be self-motivated with good analytical, mathematical and problem-solving ability along with strong interpersonal skills.

Of interest will be a degree and ideally a post-graduate qualification in a physical science or maths subject with a strong software development background.
