Technically, they will expect you to be able to use and programme a CMM machine and reading engineering drawings will be second nature to you. If you have used an Aberlink CNC CMM machine then this would be of great interest to the client.
This company design and assemble their products including the mechanical components and this is where you come in, making sure everything is top notch and ready to be used, so an eye for detail is key.
You’ll need to be a whiz with computers as they use all the latest software, such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
In addition to this you should be used to liaising with design engineers as well as external sub-contractors, calibration companies and suppliers.
To be considered for this opportunity you’ll need to be educated to GCSE or equivalent standard including Maths and English, as well as demonstrate the qualities and technical skills mentioned above.

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. There might be occasional travel may be required to visit suppliers, test houses etc (vehicle/transport will be supplied).
