Mechanical Design Analysis Engineer
Responsible for performing mechanical analysis, calculations, modifications and troubleshooting on engine/ power/rotating equipments.
Interpreting FEA assessments based on drawings, dimensional measurements and reverse engineering techniques.
Perform analysis such as vibration analysis, frequency analysis, stress analysis, thermal analysis, fatigue analysis, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
Provide advanced assessment on component liability and life expectancy and root cause investigation rotating equipment reliability issues.
Produce design schemes, stress calculations and written substantiation and where appropriate detailed design drawings
Graduated from university, degree in engineering with a detailed background in practical mechanical engineering.
At least 5 years of relevant in the field of Stress Analysis, Fatigue Analysis, Structure Modifications, Machine Dynamics, Materials and troubleshooting techniques as applied to rotating equipment (engines, compressors, expanders, steam and/or gas turbines)
Ideally a Chartered Engineer or be able to demonstrate sufficient experience to become chartered.
Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, able to handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner
