Manufacturing Engineer 
Permanent 
Newcastle-under-Lyme
£30,000 - £40,000

Your Tasks/ Responsibilities:
- Manages and coordinates the industrialization activities for dedicated Business Units as 1st contact person.
- Collaborates in Requests for Quotation and/or Projects, takes part in project reviews As a core team member
- Collects and prioritize the internal customer demands

Support tasks:
- Clarification of the customer Requirements
- Integration of new process technologies within the plants
- Implementation of the production process standards
- Optimization of production process standards
- Improve the Process continually Efficiency, OEE
- Coordination of the integration of new process technologies
- RFQ Kick-off meeting
- Site selection
- Production Concept Design and release
- Changing in the Production concept or new technology due to technical changes
- Logistic, IM, Quality concepts design
- Capex Calculation (Production equipment)
- Business Plan review
- Ramp Up Planning and Tracking
- Capacity planning according Ramp Up
- VAVE-Activities
- Transfer of business
- Make or Buy comparisons
- Component design Validation
- Support costing (in terms of WSD standard times and production pattern)
- Enable application of WSD standard times within BU
- Elaborates and performs rationalisation of production process regarding customer specific requirements
- Development for new production methods and processes
- Participation in customer Meeting
- Co-Design with customer

Your Profile
- Industrial Engineering Experience within manufacturing/production environment (preferable)
- Harness manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Customer interfacing experience (essential)
- Mechanical Engineering degree or proven experience (essential)
