Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to join a brand new team, in a business that is investing heavily on state on the art testing facilities. This business is building a brand new battery test facility and require two facilities engineers to help get it up and running and ensuring the facility then continues to run smoothly. 

Roles and responsibilities
- Provide all technical support for Engineering team preparing Propulsion Facilities to perform tests activities according to customer requirements
- Provide corrective and preventive maintenance on HV systems of a batteries testing laboratory
- Conducts investigations and prepares reports to support investigations on HV electrical systems
- Identify failures and suggest modifications to testing equipment
- Elaborate procedures for electrical connections from batteries and energy accumulation devices to power supplies
- Assure all instruments are calibrated and generating reliable data

Qualifications
- BSc in electrical disciplines
- (MSc in the automotive or electrical field would be an advantage)
- (17th/18th Edition Electrical Training would be an advantage)

Experience 
- Must have experience using wiring diagrams and harness drawings 
- Experience with HV electrical system 
- Experience Instrumentation including thermocouples and pressure transducers
- Should be familiar to test beds main controls including PID tuning
- (Battery testing environment familiarity is desirable)
- (Automotive background is desirable)

Skills 
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills mostly when handling large amounts of data
- Electrical cabinets and typical components knowledge
- Ability to utilize HV diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and clamp meters with best safety practices
- Aptitude to repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
