Our Automotive / Engineering Consultancy client is seeking a Chief Programme Engineer – Composites to be responsible for the management of all projects within Composites, including, timing, delivery and cost.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
? Responsible for overseeing the delivery of multi-sector composite engineering projects. This will include: Cost, Quality, Timing, Delivery, Resources & Profitability
? Ensuring that all projects have Purchase Order coverage for the correct value as per the businesses quotation and negotiations
? Supporting Marketing & Sales to explore new opportunities and construction of quotations
? Managing, monitoring and controlling the timing and delivery of each project according to quoted deliverables and the companies / OEM gateway requirements through to product launch
? Managing the Project Leaders & resources within their projects, including staff, skills and equipment
? Continuously interacting with stakeholders to set expectations, review objectives and coordinate resources across projects
? Reporting weekly and at monthly governance reviews the project team’s performance in the management meetings
? Demonstrating leadership within your project teams through strong communication and governance
? To directly interface with the associated customers, ensuring that the requirements of the projects are clearly understood and delivered as per the delivered quotations
? To provide their team with daily motivation and to provide a positive outlook for their subordinates.
? To ensure their team upholds IATF16949 accreditation and other specific systems

HEADLINE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL:
? Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
? You will have managed either a full vehicle programme or system/sub system through to launch
? Have significant Project Management experience and have used Project Management systems
? Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
? Flexible attitude
? Full driving licence as travel will be required as part of the role
DESIRABLE:
? It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to speak German
