- Investigate ECM/TCM/PCM behaviour, calibration tables, tuning parameters and map-switching logic.
- Work with TriCore, PowerPC and multicore automotive architectures.
- Develop tools, scripts and automation using C/C++, C# and Python.
- Work with CAN, UDS, CCP/XCP and KWP2000.
- Use automotive programming, flashing, diagnostics, data logging and calibration tools.
- Research and develop software/hardware access methods for modern vehicle control modules.
- Contribute to engineering projects, document technical findings and support junior engineers where required.
About You
You’ll ideally have 4+ years’ experience in software reverse engineering, embedded systems, automotive electronics or a related discipline.
You should have:
- Strong assembly language and embedded systems knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with IDA Pro and/or Ghidra.
- Strong C/C++, C# and Python programming skills.
- Experience with automotive communications, diagnostics and ECU tooling.
- A structured, analytical approach and the ability to work independently.
