POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the role will involve working with the SVO supply base to monitor and assure the quality of the goods received. The role will include working closely with SVO personnel within the quality, engineering and production departments, across multiple divisions, to ensure that the product supplied by the supply base is delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality level.&nbsp;
Travel will be required weekly to UK divisions, therefore we are looking for someone that is flexible to travelling.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Operations Planner

Honda Racing Corporation has established a new subsidiary, Honda Racing Corporation UK Ltd. (HRC UK) in the UK.
This new company has been founded to primarily perform post-race maintenance and preparation tasks on the Honda built current F1 power units (PUs), whilst also operating as a logistics operation for the European region. The establishment of HRC UK will further enhance the effectiveness of Honda&rsquo;s PU operations, in support of the partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One&reg; Team. The IT Support Engineer will provide effective 1st line and 2nd line as well as some 3rd line support across all aspects of the UK business, providing excellent service to a wide range of users. This job holder will take ownership of user/associates problems, perform a technical diagnosis and fix the issue/s either remotely or on-site. The IT Support Engineer will work independently to provide a high standard of Incident and Problem Management and effectively resolve new issues, while finding the root cause of problems and designing and implementing the problem recurrence prevention process/method. Honda Racing Corporation has established a new subsidiary, Honda Racing Corporation UK Ltd. (HRC UK) in the UK. &nbsp;
This new company has been founded to primarily perform post-race maintenance and preparation tasks on the Honda built current F1 power units (PUs), whilst also operating as a logistics operation for the European region. The establishment of HRC UK will further enhance the effectiveness of Honda&rsquo;s PU operations, in support of the partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One&reg; Team. In May 2023, Honda and Aston Martin F1 jointly announced they will enter into works partnership so that Honda will supply its F1 PUs compliant with the new F1 regulations which will take effect in the 2026 season. &nbsp;

The HR Operations Manager is a diverse, generalist role that involves working with senior management and other members of the regional HR team to plan, deliver, and enhance the delivery of HR services (including L&amp;D). This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the day-to-day operations of human resources, including employee relations, professional HR advice, and policy development and implementation.
Responsibilities include:
HR Operations &amp; Service Delivery
&bull; Ensure governance and accuracy of all HR delivery
&bull; Manage systems, process improvements, and development to increase efficiency&nbsp;
&bull; Challenge and continuously evaluate work processes to influence existing work and share best practices
&bull; Provide compensation and benefits advice and support &bull; Update associate records in the HR database (e.g., sickness/absence/training) and monitor the accuracy of team members

Skills and Experience:
&bull; Proven track record in senior/mid-level HR roles (or equivalent experience) in similar environments
&bull; In-depth knowledge of HR practices, including employee relations, and leading general operational HR services and projects
&bull; Ability to lead HR activities in a complex, fast paced, matrix business environment
&bull; Someone who strongly shares Honda's principles and values, quickly establishes credibility and respect, and builds strong working relationships
&bull; Have the credibility you need to make an impact at every level, are comfortable advising across multiple disciplines, and have a logical, yet pragmatic, and commercially sound approach to problem solving.
&bull; Educated to degree level or equivalent, CIPD Qualified or HR related field.
&bull; Persuasive communicator who can evaluate, interpret, and present findings and insights to recommend HR actions and interventions
&bull; Experience working with people representing a wide range of cultures, including Japanese (preferred)
&bull; Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential, and a working knowledge of other European languages is an advantage
