The Role
We’re looking for a Programme Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence across new product introductions, ensuring robust planning and flawless execution from concept through to production. You’ll play a key role in delivering APQP milestones, supporting customer requirements, and embedding proactive quality practices across the full programme lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
•    Support APQP deliverables and ensure alignment with customer expectations 
•    Drive quality activities across NPI, including ISIR, capability studies, AAR, and PPAP 
•    Develop and optimise measurement systems using SPC and support DOE activities 
•    Contribute to design reviews and prototype builds 
•    Create and maintain Control Plans and support D/PFMEA reviews 
•    Prepare, review, and audit PPAP submission packs 
•    Lead root cause analysis (8D) and implement effective containment actions 
•    Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams on quality standards 
•    Support production teams to meet customer and quality requirements 
•    Ensure successful PSW submission and approval 
•    Promote continuous improvement through data-driven and digital quality methods 

About You
•    Proven experience in Quality Engineering within the automotive sector 
•    Qualified to Degree, HND, HNC, IQA level or equivalent 
•    Strong expertise in Control Plans and PFMEA development and auditing 
•    Experience with APIS IQ (or similar) for PFMEA and Control Plans 
•    Solid background in PPAP preparation and review 
•    Confident conducting audits and influencing cross-functional teams 
•    Strong knowledge of APQP, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
•    Background in plastics and/or complex assembly (desirable) 
•    Experience working with OEMs such as Jaguar Land Rover (advantageous)
