We are seeking a number of Battery Test Technicians to join our Electrification and Battery Testing team.

In this role, you will conduct a range of abuse and development test on  customer battery systems ranging from cell level to full pack, including battery tear down (disassembly).

Your responsibilities will encompass testing and tear down at the cell, module, and pack levels. Collaborating with the team members and customers, you will ensure tests are set up and executed in the most efficient and effective manner. Collecting test data along the way to include in reporting for the customer which will inform design improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additional duties will include general maintenance of the site and equipment.

Please note;

Up to 18 month contract
Up to £18 p/hr (approx. £29,835 p/a) based on skills and experience (inclusive of holiday pay)
This role can be considered for Outside IR35
This role will involve working outdoors in all weathers throughout the year- appropriate PPE and clothing will be provided (if Outside IR35/Ltd company agency worker then we can discuss PPE requirements that you will need to provide for inspection and use)  .
A full UK drivers licence is required for this role.
Baseline security clearance will be required for this role.
39 hours a week - standard hours 0830 - 1630 Mon to Thurs and 0830 - 1600 Fri with a 30 mins lunch each day. Hours can be flexed - to be discussed at interview.
They may be occasional overtime/shift working available and would require flexibility within working hours.
