We are partnering with Elite KL Limited, Following the private equity backed acquisition in February 2024, the board are looking to appoint a Business Development Director to support the companies continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join  a successful team and to be fully engaged in the company’s future.

 

This position is a senior role reporting at board level, suited to an individual with a positive attitude who has the experience and ability to perform successfully as part of a small leadership team. In addition, is capable of working effectively under pressure to meet strategic objectives.

 

This is a key leadership role and will be responsible for all of the new sales activities within the business. This highly commercial, visible, and client facing role is key to the delivering our growth objectives and will be a focal point for generating new business, exploring new markets, identifying potential partnerships and products for the business.

 

Responsibilities

 

•Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve business objectives and expand our customer base

•Achieving annual sales targets in the identified sectors and associated accounts, primarily focused on new business

•Building and sustaining long lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 

Duties

 

•Devise strategies for driving sales growth across the business

•Implement Elite KL’s strategic initiatives and communicate clearly to all stakeholders.

•Responsible for setting sales objectives to achieve board targets

•Responsible for setting up meetings with prospective customers to sell and promote the company’s products and services

•Acting as a key contact alongside the Sales team for key customer accounts

•Forming strategic partnerships with other companies to leverage their existing products and networks

•Responsible for producing a market overview report that is kept updated

•Maintain open and constant communication with customers to gain information on customers’ future planning

•Provide update monthly to the Board with respect to Key Client Activity and outlook for the next 3,6 and 12 months

•To coach and develop talent within the sales function, ensuring that there is strong team to deliver the strategic objectives and that current sales team is fully proficient in their roles and activities

 

Marketing

 

Our rebranding program has just been initiated, with focus on new markets, emerging technologies and our technical capability. The position will include:

 

•Gathering market intelligence and help build sales pipeline

•Responsibility for representing Elite KL at various national and international trade shows

•Negotiating with clients along with other directors to establish frame agreements and contracts

•Supporting strategic partners and agencies to ensure the website adequately portrays Elite KL’s capabilities and product range.

•Assisting partners or agencies to develop social media platforms and ensure regular upload of information

 

Previous Experience / Competencies / Qualifications

 

•Track record working in the automotive sector and/or including construction equipment and mobile machinery. Ideally in the thermal management field.

•Existing customer base and account management experience

•Strong Business Development background with track record in Sales Management

•Computer-literate

•Strong presentation skills and confidence in presenting to large audiences.

•Qualification to degree level preferred

•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others

•Key understanding and ability to close a deal and negotiate terms & conditions
