Location: Near Billingshurst
Rate: £40–£45 per hour Ltd
IR35: Outside IR35
Contract: Initial 3 months, expected to continue longer term
Working: Hybrid

We’re currently recruiting for a CATIA V5 Design Engineer to join an engineering team working across a range of projects within defence, marine and automotive.

The role will involve working on a range of complex engineering projects, with a strong focus on heavy-duty mechanical design and detailed component development.

The Role

This is a hands-on mechanical design role suited to someone with a strong background in heavy-duty mechanical design and experience working with complex mechanical systems.

Your background could include the design of:

• Chassis systems
• Powertrain components
• Heavy-duty mechanical components
• Hydraulic or pneumatic systems

Experience with hydraulics and/or pneumatics would be particularly relevant.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced CATIA V5 Design Engineer with:

• Strong mechanical design experience using CATIA V5
• A background in heavy-duty mechanical design
• Experience designing complex mechanical components and systems
• Chassis or powertrain design experience would transfer well
• Hydraulics or pneumatics experience would be advantageous

This is an initial 3-month contract, with the expectation that the project will continue longer term.
