National Sales Manager - Public Sector

ChargeQube helps organisations electrify fleets and sites faster, add resilience and reduce cost.
The Opportunity We are looking for a genuine new business hunter to drive ChargeQube sales across the UK private sector. Reporting to the Sales &amp; Marketing Director, you will generate your own opportunities, open doors with senior decision makers and win business with fleet operators, commercial infrastructure owners, CPOs and national EV charging installers. Businesses are electrifying faster than grid connections can keep up. ChargeQube closes that gap. This role suits a proactive, well networked and commercially driven sales professional who can hit the ground running, build relationships and, most importantly, win business. It is not an inbound or account management role. You will be accountable for creating and converting your own pipeline.
Key Responsibilities 1. New Business Generation &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Generate and convert your own new business through proactive prospecting, networking, events and referrals &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Target fleet operators (logistics, delivery, bus and coach, rental and leasing), commercial infrastructure (depots, logistics parks, retail, hospitality and property estates), CPOs and national EV charging installers &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Open doors quickly using established industry relationships
2. Pipeline &amp; Revenue Accountability &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Own pipeline generation, sales activity and revenue delivery against clear targets &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Build, manage and accurately forecast a national pipeline from first contact to close &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Report regularly on activity, pipeline and performance to the Sales &amp; Marketing Director
3. Deal Closing &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead the full sales cycle: discovery, solution scoping with engineering, proposals, pricing and negotiation &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Build business cases built on ROI linking ChargeQube to cost, speed of deployment and carbon savings &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Close agreements across outright purchase, leasing, rental and Energy as a Service models
4. Senior Stakeholder Engagement &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Engage confidently with senior decision makers, including fleet, operations, facilities, energy, finance and board level leaders &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Act as a trusted advisor on how ChargeQube supports fleet electrification, grid constrained sites and temporary or flexible charging
5. Strategic Partnerships &amp; Referral Channels &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Develop strategic partnerships and referral channels with CPOs, national EV charging installers, EPCs, vehicle OEMs and dealers, leasing and finance providers &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Support partners with joint propositions and joint selling to extend national reach
6. Delivery &amp; Account Growth &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure a seamless handover from order to deployment, working with engineering, operations and service teams &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Grow won accounts through repeat orders, fleet expansion and service agreements &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Feed customer and market insight back into product and pricing
