As an in-demand startup tackling some of the most urgent logistical challenges we face today, ELM has robust growth plans. As such we’ll be helping the brand to hire a range of highly-skilled professionals from product development to supply chain, quality, manufacturing and operations.

Culture and working environment

ELM’s culture is markedly different from an established OEM. It’s a hands-on business with an intentionally small team, where collaboration with external partners is a critical part of the strategy.

Communication, ownership and relationship-building are therefore as important as technical ability. While experience in automotive, commercial and agricultural vehicles or wider mobility is valuable, employees must first and foremost thrive with a broad remit. That could mean visiting customers to understand their requirements, working on product development or helping your colleagues with business critical activities.

The team values people who are humble, inquisitive and energised by variety and responsibility. The structure is extremely flat, with people encouraged to raise problems and discuss them openly.

ELM is based in central Leamington Spa, within walking distance of the railway station. Roles are site-based, reflecting the close collaboration and warm, shared culture of a small team that is building something together–whether that’s over breakfast in the office or a stroll into town after work.
