Project /Program Manager

We are looking for a technically minded Project Manager to lead an internal engine design and high-performance vehicle design project from concept through to key development milestones and road compliance. The role involves working closely with design, simulation, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver a high-performance, production-feasible engine and vehicle within defined time, cost, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate will bring proven project management skills, a solid understanding of internal combustion engines and automotive systems, and ideally, experience or exposure in an automotive environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engine and vehicle design/development project.
• Some technical understanding of internal combustion engines and supporting systems.
• Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex technical timelines.
• Proficient with project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Available on a contract basis, either full-time or part-time.

• Engagement Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
• Hours: Full-time or part-time (min. 3 days/week)
• Location: Hybrid – will be required to visit contractors onsite
• Rate: Competitive day rate, based on experience
