Principle Accountabilities: &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Manages engineering budget, product cost, timing, and quality.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Follows RASIC in GDLS and company policies.&nbsp;
Main missions and results: &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Supervises design and product engineering.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Liaises with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing plants.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures designs meet styling, technical requirements, assembly, and manufacturing needs.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Implements quality deployment and provides FEA and dimensional analysis data.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Supports tool timing, trials, and sign-off.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures robust processes prior to tool shipment with cross-functional teams.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Applies cost-effective technical solutions and engages subject matter experts.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Resolves design issues in cooperation with customer engineering teams.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Implements Artifex best practices and supports New Product Introduction (NPI).&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Participates in model year changes and APQP gate reviews.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Supports cost estimates and ensures recoverable costs are captured.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Manages customer communications, VAVE, and program RFQs.&nbsp;
Preferred skills and experience: &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s or Diploma in automotive, plastics, or mechanical engineering.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience in automotive interiors, Cockpit, Instrument Panel, and Passenger Airbag development.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Cradle-to-grave project experience including process, tool, and program launch.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of surface development, CAD tools (Enovia, Tetra, Kisters, JT2Go), and engineering standards.&nbsp; &bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong management, interpersonal, and technical skills (GD&amp;T, DFM, DFA, CAE/FEA, CAD, FMEA, DVP&amp;R).
