We are seeking an experienced SYSPRO Applications Specialist to take ownership of our ERP environment and support the ongoing development and optimisation of our business systems.
In this key role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and enhancement of our SYSPRO ERP system and related applications. Acting as the technical lead for ERP projects, you will work closely with business users and IT colleagues to deliver system improvements, resolve complex issues, and implement process changes that drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Administer, support, and optimise the SYSPRO ERP system, applying patches and managing performance and security.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot ERP, database, and application issues, escalating to vendors where required.</li>
<li>Lead ERP enhancement and upgrade projects aligned with business needs.</li>
<li>Design, maintain, and deliver reports using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Crystal Reports.</li>
<li>Develop and support integrations using Dataswitch and related tools</li>
<li>Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party support providers.</li>
<li>Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.</li>
<li>Maintain technical documentation across the ERP environment.</li>

About You:
<ul>
<li>Expert knowledge of SYSPRO ERP.</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience (queries, stored procedures, database design).</li>
<li>Proven experience with reporting tools and advanced Excel.</li>
<li>Knowledge of integrations, scripting, and development technologies such as Dataswitch, VBA, JavaScript or C#.</li>
<li>Able to lead technical projects and collaborate across teams.</li>
<li>Experienced in business process analysis and vendor management.</li>
<li>A relevant degree or equivalent commercial experience is required; SQL certification is desirable.</li>

This role is responsible for leading projects that design, implement, and improve the site&rsquo;s warehouse infrastructure and internal logistics systems. The Project Engineer manages layout design, material flow, automation opportunities, inventory processes, and logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Working closely with operations, supply chain, IT, engineering teams, and external suppliers, the role oversees project delivery from concept through to implementation, develops procedures and KPIs using tools such as SAP and Power BI, and provides day-to-day guidance for physical logistics activities. You will bring strong experience in digital (FPGA/MPU) and analogue circuit design, with a focus on low-power, low-noise systems. You will be comfortable leading hardware design reviews, comparing engineering approaches, and selecting the best solutions for performance, reliability, and manufacturability. A solid understanding of EMC principles, design-for-compliance, and hands-on EMC testing is essential.
The ideal candidate will also have embedded experience in C and/or C++, along with practical debugging skills across both hardware and firmware. A proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation are vital.
