Jonathan has a sound knowledge of the automotive industry and works credibly with professionals at all levels of seniority. His experience includes managing large accounts for OEMs, supporting clients on individual recruitment projects and working with highly skilled candidates.

Background

In his younger days Jonathan travelled extensively and his wide experience of working with people includes time spent supporting children within care. He began his recruitment career in 2010, hiring within the renewable energy sector whilst gaining his REC accreditation, before joining us in 2012.

Role at Gerrell & Hard

Jonathan manages some of our key accounts within the Automotive Engineering market. He provides full-process contract and permanent recruitment for OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and consultancies, hiring for skillsets including design and manufacture.

Free time

Jonathan loves his spare time and is passionate about travel (he lived in New Zealand in 2008), sport (he’s a keen runner), natural history and gardening. He is a season ticket holder with Portsmouth Football Club and a bit of a whiz in the kitchen.

“I love plants - although my garden’s pretty small, I currently have 79 different species of plant in my house and garden!”

“I’m proud to have delivered a number of senior candidates to a prestigious account that I worked hard to help win. Those candidates have proven to be very successful. A client shouldn’t have to pay until they get the right individual, and I’m committed to that, so I’m really happy with that achievement”.
