Job Description

My client is a Global Motorsport & Automotive Tier 1 Supplier, providing engineered and product development services to Major Race teams and Automotive OEM’s around the world. 

The Analysis Manager is looking for a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer with strong coding and mathematics background that enjoys using software. 

Ideally he is looking for an individual with Simulation experience using Matlab, ADAMS, VI-grade that is looking for a new exciting challenge to work along-side the current Vehicle Dynamicist. 

The Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer will be responsible for carrying out all phases of assigned vehicle dynamics simulation projects measuring performance of suspension systems for Race Tracks and Road, feeding information back to customers. You will also be responsible for developing new technology for future applications. 

The role is varied, 90% of the work is simulation which is mainly desk based, working with and integrating with other areas of the company through the life-cycle of the project and supporting testing for analysing performance.  

This will involve many aspects from conceptual studies, modelling and simulations reviewing and analysing results, and report preparation to support the divisions and outside customers. 

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including live motorsport programs, ongoing R&D and automotive OEM work.  

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry
- Engineering Degree or equivalent 
- Strong mathematics aptitude and problem solving skills
