We are looking for a Technical Admin Assistant to support the Technical Information Systems Team who work within a design and manufacturing environment.
Over the past few years, this company has invested in moving and modernising its manufacturing capabilities in pursuit of technical excellence and as a result, they now have one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the South-East.
This is a diverse position and you’ll be doing things like maintaining the Technical Information System, training staff how to use it as well as updating and reporting Engineering Change Orders for the manufacturing & design team.
Other aspects of the position will be to maintain technical data in the MRP and ERP system, such as Bill of Materials changes. Some of the time you’ll get to operate and maintain the 3D printer, carry out and report data quality audits on their core business software as well as generate statistical reports and KPIs.
We’re ideally looking for someone who has some technical knowledge as well as data analytics skills.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, systematic, professional and conscientious approach. You’ll be a natural organiser with excellent planning, scheduling and co-ordinating skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and provide a responsive and pragmatic service.
To apply you’ll need:
- Basic knowledge of technical drawing and a willingness to enhance your skillset
- Minimum A-Level in Science or Maths
- Computer literate with the ability to use packages including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
