Job Description

Our Automotive & Motorsport Consultancy Client is seeking a Design & Senior Design Engineer to join the close dynamic Suspension team located at their facility in Thetford, Norfolk.

Our client is a Global Supplier of engineering components, systems and vehicle development services to major Race Teams, Automotive OEMs and a growing number of Niche Vehicle Manufacturers.

Specialities include suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, carbon fibre structural components, mechanisms and mechatronics.

As the Design engineer, you will be involved in the concept and development of suspension systems, ranging from packaging and structural requirements to the detail design, modelling and drafting of precision components.

You will be given the opportunity to work on High-End Motorsport (60%) OEM/Road Car (20%) & Full Vehicle (20%) Projects, being involved in the full life-cycle.

This is a fast-paced working environment, with no two days being the same. One day could see you designing from a blank piece of paper creating new and exciting ideas, the next being involved with the prototype of your design and the following week seeing your finished part being utilised out on the track in a Race competition.

You must be degree educated, holding at least 4-7 years +’ experience in a similar position in either Automotive or Motorsport with a passionate and positive attitude.

Knowledge of suspension design and optimisation would be a distinct advantage as would an understanding of hydraulic systems design; however any component area will be considered.

If your considering a new challenge, look no further! Why not join a business that can offer new skills, development and career advancement, not to mention working on some of the most exciting and diverse projects in the industry!
