We are looking for an Infotainment HW Project Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. This role will be split between our new offices in Reading (2-3 days per week) and remote working.

What you will do:
You will be working within the Infotainment team to deliver Volta’s Haptics, Switchgear, Antenna and Audio commodities from development into production. You will be hands on driving technical development. You will use your project management skills to ensure we are on track against Volta’s business milestones interfacing with partners and stakeholders.

Lead the commodity and surface release plans against Volta’s business milestones ensuring Volta hits all high-level plan timing requirements
Define and document technical requirements as part of the requirements life cycle
Ensure HW is developed and validated including any certification for production
Industry scouting & discovery for improving current Volta offering
Defining validation and test coverage of the commodities to ensure they are fit for purposes in the vehicle
Project planning and monitoring progress against Volta’s business milestones
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

We would like you to have:
Engineering background
Experience in managing HW deliveries against a macro plans
Experience in manufacturing processes and part maturity releases, certification and validation phases
Knowledge of ECU development & Validation standards (e.g. Environmental, EMC, etc.)
Experience in working with development boards – e.g. Arduino.
Knowledge of project management methodologies
Willingness to learn new tools and process
