Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineering Degree required)

Salary - £20,000 - £25,000 plus company van
Our Air Conditioning and Ventilation client is seeking to employ a graduate mechanical engineer either straight from Uni or with a some industry experience with an interest in applied renewable technologies, in particular air conditioning and ventilation to join their business.
This person will be supervising mechanical / building services projects. The work will involve seeking new work, travelling to various sites around the south of England to survey properties for the installation of mechanical services, mainly air conditioning and ventilation, producing quotations and then managing the work through to completion. After training and a trial period of 6 months the candidate would become a Sales / Project Manager within their organisation based in Winchester.
? The person:
You will be a graduate with a minimum of a Foundation Degree, ideally a BEng Mechanical Engineering or HND in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. The successful applicant must have good IT skills especially in Microsoft Office applications, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude to work and good time management skills.
No formal experience is necessary as full training will be provided, however a good understanding of Engineering Principles and a foundation knowledge of building contrition and services would be desirable.
The candidate will possess excellent report writing skills, good analytical skills that lead to logical solutions, a practical disposition and a high level of commercial awareness. A full driving licence is essential and based preferably within 30 miles of Winchester.
We are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic team player, with the determination and self-motivation to make a significant contribution to the organisation, who must be willing to undertake travel for the role, and cope with physically demanding situations, typically on construction sites.
25 days holidays plus bank holidays and auto enrolment pension. A company van will be provided.
