Job Description
Reporting to the Production Engineer Team Leader, this newly created position will appeal to Production Engineers who like to be involved in Build & Test Processes, Equipment, Techniques, Work Instructions & Tooling for optimized quality, throughput, cycle times & reduced rework.
In addition to this you’ll support the Design, Development & Engineering Department through the change control process and take an active role in all aspects of New Product Introduction.
Another dimension to your role will also be to support the Quality Department and the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, by adopting best practice & awareness of relevant QMS Policy, Procedures, Work Instructions & Forms for full compliance as tested by internal audits.
A flexible attitude is looked for and you must also hold a current driving licence.
This position would suit a Production Engineer who enjoys working for a smaller organisation, where they will be given opportunity to set their own work pattern and enjoy a close team environment. You’ll likely have an ONC qualification and experience of working in a complex electronic manufacturing environment, along with a good practical knowledge or Electro- Mechanical Production Processes, SMT, PCB and Lean Methodologies.
Exposure to ISO9001 QMS systems is also required, as is the ability to use CAD.
