As an NVH engineer, you will be leading the development and implementation of the acoustic pack within the electric vehicle project.
•Bring and share your NVH expertise with design engineers and lead the development of the acoustic pack.
•Suggest strategy for the development of the acoustic pack.
Detail the day to day duties
•Define and implement experimental / numerical test programmes to evaluate the proposed acoustic pack.
•Liaise with suppliers and engineering partners and represent NVH in packaging meeting.
•Analyse test results, summarise findings and communicate these to other members of RDD including senior managers and directors.
•Present concepts to the Exec. team, when required.
•Good knowledge on the acoustic and vibration of poro-elastic media
•Experienced in material characterisation for NVH (including use of acquisition software such as LMS Test Lab or B&K)
•Good understanding of modelling techniques for mid / high frequency (FEA and SEA)
•Good knowledge in automotive NVH
•Experience in automotive / aeronautics / building / environmental acoustics
•A first degree or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (other relevant engineering disciplines will be considered).
•Bachelors in engineering or science.
