Job Description

Our client is seeking a Lead Application Engineer at their Colchester site.

Mechanical Basis Application 
Responsible for designing and defining mechanical systems incorporating with design and development team to meet contractual obligation and produce documentation, data, specifications and drawings for a range of standard and customised solutions to customer specification in a number of industries and in particular, Marine, Oil& Gas, Power. 
Excellent skills in mechanical design, Engineering calculation, international standards, project management and work package management 
Graduated from university, degree in engineering with a detailed background in practical mechanical engineering. 
At least 10 years of relevant experience in rotating equipment (engines, and/or gas turbines) 
Ideally a Chartered Engineer or be able to demonstrate sufficient experience to become chartered. Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, hands-on mentality, able to handle stress and difficult situations in a calm manner

Electrical Basis Application 
Responsible for designing and defining electrical &electronical systems incorporating with design and development team to meet contractual obligation and produce documentation, data, specifications and drawings inc. wiring diagrams, P&ID’s, termination & block , logic diagrams for a range of standard and customised solutions to customer specification in a number of industries and in particular Marine, Oil& Gas, Power. 
Excellent skills in electrical &electronic design, Engineering calculation, international standards, project management and work package management 
Graduated from university, degree in engineering with a detailed background in practical electrical & electronic engineering.
