Job Description
Reporting to the Head of IT we are looking for a C# and .Net Developer/Analyst who can assist with the development of new software products and to create and support expansion of existing applications. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build on their experience and unlock their potential as a junior developer.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES
• Design, build and maintain new and existing .Net applications using C#
• Develop web applications using HTML, Javascript and, CSS
• Develop solutions to integrate line of business systems
• Test and quality control of own code
• Write technical documents for applications where required
• Work closely with other members of the IT team and other employees as required
• Willingness to stay up to date with the latest technological developments
You’ll be working with an established team of IT professionals, comprising developers, system administrators and support personnel. The team is responsible for the companies worldwide IT systems and infrastructure, providing around the clock IT support and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering or similar, with a clear interest in C#, .Net, Javascript or similar development languages.
SKILLS
– Good verbal and written communication skills
– Strong problem-solving ability
ESSENTIAL
– Microsoft C#
– Microsoft .Net 4.0 or above
DESIRABLE
– Microsoft SQL Server
– REST and SOAP API
– Javascript/ Javascript frameworks
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
– 6 to 12 months commercial experience with; C#, .Net and Javascript
– Understanding of object orientated design skills and best practices
– An understanding of .Net frameworks such as MVC, Web API will be beneficial
– Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016/365 experience will be beneficial
– Use of published APIs for system integration
– Client-side JavaScript development
