Job Description
Our client is a UK based electronics design and manufacturing company who are a world leader in their field. They are now looking to recruit an Electronics Engineer for their R&D department.
You'll be specifically responsible for extending and developing the range of electronic products.
Engineers should be qualified to BSc level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or similar and have experience in practical electronic circuit design of measurement, control, analogue, digital and embedded microcontrollers is necessary.
Programming with the ST7 and STM8 or similar family of processors is ideal, and design experience in data interfaces, GSM, Bluetooth, data logging, SMPS and power electronics will be an advantage.
Programming in assembler and ‘C’ is essential.
All candidates should be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in small teams.
This is a great opportunity and offers varied and satisfying work as the engineer will be expected to see a product from initial specification, through design, testing, into production and give ongoing support.
You'll need to be flexible in the tasks you undertake and you will report to the Chief Electronics Engineer.
You should be eligible to work in the UK and be available for international travel.
