Role/Responsibilities:
Hardware support, including design of customer application and supporting returned parts investigation for EU diesel customers.

You will take responsibility for the design, testing and analysis of parts of the diesel FiE system. This includes discussion with the customer (e.g. understanding of customer evaluation, presentation of results), component testing of injector pump and rail, analysis / judgement, discussion with HW design team and reporting to customer.

Ideally we are looking for proven experienced design / component engineer with good theoretical knowledge and relevant powertrain experience, ideally with diesel component experience.

Skills:
Proven track record delivering projects, proven experience working in the area of design / analysis of diesel FiE components. Good experience of powertrain related systems, Matlab, Simulink or similar are also desirable.

You will be comfortable working either independently or in teams and will demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills.

In this role you will be expected to support test work with the OEM in the UK and overseas, also to undertake short periods of overseas business travel.
