Job Description

Our client is a British OEM and is famous for building iconic motorcycles. 

Through bold design, purposeful engineering and a genuine passion for the ride, they create distinctive motorcycles and aim to make the best in the world. 

Our client designs all of their motorcycles in Leicestershire and manufacture components and complete motorcycles in five factories globally. 

Due to growth and development of the business they are recruiting X6 Talented Design Engineers in their Chassis Department.

The Design Department consists of project teams who are responsible for the design, development and validation of their iconic motorcycles. 

Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to design a large variety of motorcycle components and reap the benefits of seeing their parts fitted to production motorcycles and enjoyed by riders. 

Career paths include the opportunity to specialise in a certain area of the motorcycle or to move from area to area in order to achieve the broad design knowledge required to progress into a Management role.

Our client is looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for engineering and the drive and determination to create authentic motorcycles.

You will have good communications skills, be able to work individually as well as part of a team, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines, applying a pragmatic approach when necessary.

- Experience of chassis design is not essential but it is preferred 
- Practical experience required
- Good understanding of design processes from concept through to volume production
- Good understanding of manufacturing process 

You will hold a Mechanical or Automotive based engineering degree (BEng or MEng) and be eligible to live and work in the UK.
