Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Inventor
Fareham, Hampshire
6 month contract

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Draughtsperson to support the migration, review and update of subsea hydraulic system design documentation, reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor.

Essential Skills/Experience:
? 3D mechanical design and documentation of machined (milled/turned) components and general assemblies using AutoDesk Inventor
? Mechanical draughting and geometric tolerancing to BS 8888 standards
? ISO Limits and Fits
? Tolerancing stackup analysis
? Use of Product Data Management (PDM) systems
Desirable Skills/Experience:
? Design of hydraulic systems, components and sealing interfaces
? Design of subsea systems and components
? Design of Hard Anodised components
? Working with Production teams to resolve build/functional problems
? Use of Engineering Change Management systems

Qualifications
Essential
HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Desirable
HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Knowledge/Experience
Essential
