Our Global Automotive Supplier is seeking a new Supply Chain Stores & Logistics Manager in the Niche Manufacturing division located in Thetford.

The Stores & Logistics Manager works to ensure the adequate running of daily functions and supporting the business as a whole. Daily tasks and responsiblites are shared amongst the team and all members work to support each other with their tasks, aswell as support members in other departments by ensuring their projects and requirements are reaching given targets.


- Take receipt of deliveries
- Inform/deliver orders to receipents around the building
- Raise purchase orders/send purchase orders
- Prepare finished goods to go for further processes.
- Arrange shipments and ensure shipment documentation is correct
- Co-ordinate daily transport
- Book in parts from external suppliers
- Raise process cards for parts from external suppliers
- Wrap/pack dampers and parts for shipments
- Look after/process DMN paperwork and ship to vendors
- Supervise other staff to complete all daily tasks
- Collate information for KPI’s
- Supports all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the “Presidents Message”
- Adopts and practices Kaizen principles and concepts, participates in continuous improvement and GEAR activities.
- Follows all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 3 Procedures Manual.
- Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 90012014).
- Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

Directly leads a team. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Office environment; 65%.Travel required to customer offices & production locations, the companies production locations, etc.  While working in production environments, the colleague may be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes and various levels of temperature created by the manufacturing process.
