Role Overview:
As an HSE & Facilities Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, environmental sustainability, and smooth operation of facilities. From risk assessments to managing day-to-day building maintenance, you’ll be at the heart of creating a positive safety culture while supporting the ongoing development of HSE objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct HSE risk assessments, audits, and inspections, and report findings to management.
• Develop and implement safety and environmental policies in compliance with legal and industry standards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure building facilities are well-maintained, clean, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee contractors and service providers for maintenance, catering, security, and other services.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and handle emergency repairs and maintenance issues.
• Monitor and manage hazardous materials and waste.
• Prepare and deliver HSE inductions and training to employees.
• Compile and communicate HSE performance reports and KPIs.
• Manage building access, safety drills, and support the management team to maintain high standards across the site.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH).
• Proven experience in HSE and facilities management roles.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in preparing detailed reports and incident records.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in emergency situations.
• Skilled in conducting risk assessments and delivering HSE training.
