Job Overview
To be responsible for maintaining and improving the QMS and ensuring the overall quality of products released by the company meet or exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties
•Maintain and improve the company Quality Management System ensuring that it follows the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
•Implement plan to obtain IATF 16949.
•To derive effective quality control processes from the specified needs and requirements as laid down by the customer, company, and product standards.
•Audit manufacturing processes to ensure quality standards are being maintained.
•Audit supplier documentation and performance and drive improvement actions.
•To carry out supplier audits at supplier sites as required.
•Facilitate internal and external audits of company systems and procedures to ensure compliance and follow up the required actions through to resolution.
•To perform statistical analysis on internal processes and incoming products as appropriate.
•Maintain good relationships with suppliers to maintain quality standards.
•Maintain good communication with customers to understand customer requirements / deliverables.
•Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement as appropriate.
•To keep accurate records and documentation according to company policy
•Identify appropriate Key performance Indicators and develop action plans to affect improvement in line with company objectives.
•Identify training needs, manage training activities and maintain appropriate records.
•Operate safely and comply with health and safety requirements.
•Exercise a duty of care and establish a risk-based thinking culture in all areas of work.
•Maintain consistent company standards (5S).
•To mentor, support, and take a lead role in developing other staff members.
•Other additional duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications / Experience
•Good understanding of ISO9001:2015 / IAFT 16949 requirements and quality control procedure.
•ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor trained.
•IAFT 16949 Internal Auditor trained.
•Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance / Supplier Development
•Good knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.
•Good planning / organizational skills.
•Good communication skills
