Are you passionate about precision and problem-solving? We’re looking for a Calibration Test Engineer to join our team, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical instrumentation through expert calibration and testing.
What You’ll Do:
As a Calibration Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving testing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Calibration & Testing – Perform detailed calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of sensors, instruments, and electronic measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Process Development – Enhance and refine calibration methodologies, optimizing procedures to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensure all test equipment meets regulatory and company specifications, following ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
• Data Analysis & Reporting – Collect, analyze, and interpret test results, maintaining accurate documentation to support traceability and compliance.
• Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis – Identify and resolve issues with sensors and instruments, providing technical expertise to rectify faults and prevent recurrence.
• Collaboration & Support – Work closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams to provide technical support, contribute to new product development, and ensure seamless integration of calibrated equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and hands-on problem-solving ability. We’re looking for someone with:
* Technical Knowledge: Experience in calibration, test engineering, or electronic measurement, with an understanding of sensor technologies, instrumentation, and metrology principles.
* Hands-On Experience: Familiarity with calibration standards (ISO 17025 or equivalent), as well as using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.
* Problem-Solving Skills: A methodical approach to troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and improving test processes.
* Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy are crucial, as you will be working with sensitive instruments and ensuring reliable results.
* Data Analysis Abilities: Experience in recording, analyzing, and interpreting calibration data to identify trends and optimize processes.
* Software Proficiency: Knowledge of calibration software, data logging tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis).
* Communication & Teamwork: The ability to work independently and collaboratively across different teams to support testing and product development.
