Our Global Automotive technology supplier are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join their team. Their products and systems are an important part of nearly every major vehicle manufactured around the world.  

They are at the forefront of advanced technology and are in a unique position to shape the future of mobility.  Based in Coventry at the heart of the UK automotive industry, they provide development engineering and account management for a number of car makers.

Job Description:
Main Responsibilities & Activities
• Support the development of sales strategy for distributor, wholesale and workshop level (varying by region) and execute what is defined to achieve local / national ASP.
• Build and maintain solid, healthy and sustainable relations with Customers on all accessible levels to penetrate designated markets in order to achieve local / national ASP.
• Identify development opportunities with customers and in markets and possible new distribution channels.
• Ensure sales and margin generation of the companies products in line with ASP.
• In accordance with Regional Manager and Sales Manager, plan, organize and execute local marketing campaigns in close cooperation with Local MarCom (and Central if needed) including tracking of results.
• In accordance with Sales Manager, plan, organize and conduct commercial / technical customer seminars.
• Reporting on progress and development of turnover evolution, campaign activities to Sales Manager on regular basis.
• Monitor the market in the designated area on daily basis, including investigation on developments in distribution, pricing and competitors’ activities and report accordingly.
• Monitor and control payment behaviour and customer rating / solvability.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Personnel
No direct supervisory responsibilities but due to the nature of the role has to work on own initiative, be disciplined and efficient. Must be able to interact with Customers, Internal departments and peers in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Resources
Work (mostly) on remote. Provided with and responsible for Company car, Mobile Phone, Laptop for business use. Provide recommendations for promotional activity in conjunction with Line Manager / Marketing Manager.
• Planning
Responsible for planning and delivering set results from own Key Accounts and a geographical area to support National distributors activities. Must be capable of working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to define and deliver a uniform message to the market in line with Departmental strategies and Goals and Objectives.
• Decisions
Business cases to be raised with Line Manager / Product Manager for changes to customer terms, discounts, special or promotional campaigns / prices.

Supervision:
Reporting to the AMIS UK Sales Manager.

Contacts:
Role is a Sales role with customer decision maker contact.
Will interact professionally with West team – Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management and European team members

Working Conditions:
Home based.
Requirement to stay overnight to fulfil induction programme, area planning, Sales meetings, exhibitions, training or occasional European meetings. With Sales Executives and/or customers.

Education/Qualifications
Degree qualified or English & Maths GCSE or equivalent
High level of analytical skills

Nice to have:
E1 operating system
Sales Force CRM
Business Intelligence reporting software,
Mam, TecDoc and TecCom knowledge

Work Experience/Knowledge
Preferably worked in Automotive aftermarket in a B2B Sales Role for a minimum of 3 years.
If no automotive aftermarket experience but a successful Sales track record in other industry.
