HR Manager

Our high technology client are seeking a Fibre Component Development Scientist from an applied research background to join their Fibre Technology Team.
This role will drive the optical development of next generation fibre laser products through the full product development lifecycle, ensuring the requirements of all stakeholders are met, including other product development functions, product marketing and introduction into manufacturing. This role involves interaction across many functions within the company, and with significant influence on the successful launch of new products to market.

The Senior Project Engineer will be familiar with one or more of the Exterior Mechanism&rsquo;s commodities which include charge flap &amp; port, wash &amp; wipers, locks&amp; latches, mirrors, door regulators, glazing and sealing.&nbsp;

Purpose The lead system engineer is an integral member of the Engineering Team. The lead system engineer will be overlooking a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the successful system of products into existing customer vehicles &amp; equipment. The lead system engineer will have a focus towards demonstrating the performance advantages to customers or potential customers and will drive a highly skilled team to deliver projects on time and within budget. They will support the CTO and VP of Engineering to deliver the businesses engineering requirements.

Beautifully engineered vehicles don't just appear at our client's front doors - they are a result of months and sometimes years of meticulous design, dedicated craftsmanship, uncompromising testing and a personal customer experience second to none.
The role: As a mechanical engineer at Hedley Studios you will be helping to recreate some of the most iconic cars in history at various scales with electric powertrains. Working on whole vehicle design and development, on aspects ranging from chassis and suspension to beautifully crafted instrument panels and leather interiors and all things in between. This requires a broadbrush knowledge of vehicle systems and manufacturing processes, as we produce our vehicles utilising traditional techniques such as metal spinning, all the way to prepreg composites. Few have a detailed knowledge of every material and process, so we are looking for people who have a wide spanning interest in vehicle design and development.
 There will also be the opportunity to support events at Bicester Heritage such as Sunday Scrambles as well as vehicle testing and other events.
