Software Team Leader

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer who demonstrates the capabilities to lead, mentor and manage other team members, with skills that shift from pure mentoring and collaboration over to the beginning of leadership. As Software Team Leader you will need to manage conflict resolution between team members, have strong decision-making skills and act with more independence based on evidence coming from your direct reports.
Your time is split between software engineering (at the most senior level) and managing a team of engineers. A number of reports may be working on different projects to you. The expected balance of the role between team leading and carrying out engineering tasks is expected to be approximately 30/70 up to a maximum of 50/50.
The software team comprises many different skill sets focused around different areas of technologies. These core sets are:
• Angular / typescript / CSS / ASP.NET Core MVC / Azure
• Windows C# WPF
• C Coding + RTOS
• Embedded Linux & C++
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
· Educated to degree level i.e. BSc/BEng or equivalent qualification in a related discipline, such as Electronics, Physics, Maths or Computer Science
· Object oriented coding language (Angular, C#, C++)
· At least one or more of the bulleted technical areas from our core set above
· Able to write Software Requirement & Software Architecture Specifications from scratch allowing other engineers to deliver a product.
