We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to work as part of a world class custom projects delivery team responsible for the design, development and testing of subsea systems and instruments that solve the unique requirements of customers in various offshore markets including Energy, Ocean Science, Defence and Civil Engineering.

In this role you’ll define, develop and deliver bespoke engineering solutions to meet customer requirements, internal processes, standards and commercial considerations through planning, prototyping, test, validation and integration.

Project revenues range from £50k - £2M and you’ll be working on 3 to 4 major projects per year as well as provide support for delivered major projects.

Travel not required, but there may be occasional opportunities to travel to Client locations and the Plymouth in-water test facility.



  • Knowledge and use of standard lab testing equipment including Oscilloscopes and DVMs.

  • Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Proven background in engineering design or project/product launch or implementation.

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electronics, Systems, Communications, Software or similar)


  • Awareness of software or embedded software development

  • Awareness of analogue or digital electronics development.

  • Commercial awareness, understanding of ‘Business Case’, profit etc.
