Sales & Business Development Manager – Offshore Renewable Energy
£50-60k + OTE Bonus + Annual Bonus + Car Allowance £5.6k + Excellent Benefits

This is a chance to join a well established team with the specific goal of opening up the offshore renewable energy market for Sonardyne. Your role will be to identify and achieve sales across the full range of existing Sonardyne products and services by working closely with new & existing customers who have business activity in the offshore renewable energy (ORE) sector.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
Offshore industry knowledge with experience of offshore operations
Ability to understand and operate with credibility in technical discussions, debates and activities within chosen markets.
Proven sales ability, consistently achieving targets within challenging environments
Commercial acumen and experience of contract negotiation
Experience of delivering presentations/papers with confidence and impact
Experience of successful market analysis
Experience of creating and presenting effective technical sales proposals.
Knowledge of all Sonardyne products and market applications
Proven business development capability including evidence of networking at a senior level
You will also ideally be educated to a minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent qualification.
A lot of travel within UK and Europe is expected so you must be in a position to do this. We are looking for someone with tenacity, determination, drive and energy. You’ll be home based and can report to either the HQ in Hampshire or the Aberdeen office.
This position would suit a Sales, Account or Business Development Manager who has previously been an engineer but has transitioned into a commercial role. You should have the ability to understand the needs of the offshore energy community and marry up the technology currently produced by Sonardyne.
