Great opportunity for a practical Maintenance engineer who enjoys problem solving and working in an electro mechanical environment.
Working a maintenance team of 5, you'll be providing maintenance support in a busy production environment. This will include machinery such as CNC milling machines, Pneumatic and Hydraulic presses, PLC and Servo Motor controlled machines as well as other ancillary equipment.
The role will appeal to individuals with a breadth of practical knowledge across multiple disciplines including mechanical, electro pneumatic, hydraulic, plc and CNC. The candidate will be a strong team player who is comfortable working alongside machine operators, maintenance engineers and production engineers and supervisors.
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who can think long term and come up with solutions to prevent breakdowns. You should be skilled in practical fault finding and repair of issues arising in CNC milling machines and other production machinery.
You'll need to read circuit diagrams with a view to tracing and diagnosing wiring and component faults inside machine panel enclosures.
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential and we are keen to find open minded, flexible and willing characters who are happy to go the extra mile.
You'll be expected to work 1 evening in 6 - this is done on a rota basis and qualifies as paid overtime.
